About Water Skiing in Australia
Water skiing is a classic tow sport in which a skier is pulled across a water surface by a motorboat. Disciplines include slalom, trick skiing, and ski jumping, each requiring balance, strength, and technique. It is a thrilling way to spend time on the water in Australia's warm climate.
Getting Started
Water Ski Australia affiliated clubs run beginner lessons at lakes and waterways across the country, providing all necessary equipment including skis, tow ropes, and life jackets. Getting up on two skis is achievable in a single lesson for most beginners.
